But let’s look into this in a bit more detail! We’ll go over which of these offices the headquarters is, whether ETrade offices are actually currently open and how to find your nearest ETrade location. There have also been rumors of ETrade ATMs which I will address later on.

Where are Etrade headquarters?
ETrade’s headquarters are currently in Arlington, Virginia. However, the company was founded 39 years ago in Palo Alto, California. Since ETrade’s founding in 1982, the broker has expanded over the entire continental U.S. opening brick-and-mortar offices in nearly 20 states.
FYI: The best way I've found to invest in ETFs is through M1 Finance. It's free and you even get an instant line of credit! Have a look here (link to M1 Finance).
Are Etrade offices open?
ETrade offices are currently closed due to COVID-19. Please check this link for the most current information about opening times: https://us.etrade.com/contact-us/branch-locator
It is still uncertain when ETrade offices will begin opening up again. However, it is likely that the company will keep its doors shut for the coming months. Many financial service companies are moving away altogether from brick and mortar stores so it is entirely possible that we will see such a move from ETrade as well.
NOTE: The easiest way to add diversification to your portfolio is to invest in real estate through Fundrise. You can become private real estate investor without the burden of property management! Check it out here (link to Fundrise).
Are there Etrade walk-in offices?
Etrade has several walk-in office locations across the country as outlined above. These offices also function as Etrade banks and allow you to deposit and withdraw funds from your Etrade account.
Additionally, Etrade has been setting up dedicated ATMs for withdrawing and depositing cash quickly. These Etrade ATMs function kind of like banks but with a bit more limited functionality. These ATMs operate without fees for withdrawals or deposits.
FYI: Another great way to get exposure to the real estate sector is by investing in real estate debt. Groundfloor offers fantastic short-term, high-yield bonds that can add diversification to your portfolio!
How to find your nearest ETrade office

Many office locations also allow for appointments in the evening or even on Saturdays. Always make sure to check the office’s holiday schedule before stopping by without an appointment.
