So, where are Charles Schwab Offices Located when you want them? Well, for US citizens, they have offices in the following states:
- Puerto Rico
- Rhode Island
- South Carolina
- South Dakota
It also appears they have offices outside the US as well:
- London, England
- Hong Kong (central)

Does Charles Schwab Have Walk-In Offices?
You may at some point need to visit a Charles Schwab office, whether that be for help with your personal banking with them or for guidance about your investment account.
The good news is Charles Schwab has walk-in offices throughout the United States. You can generally walk-in to any Charles Schwab branch for help with your accounts held with them.
Most offices operate during normal business hours during the week and are closed on weekends. This is a big convenience for those who prefer to speak to someone in person about their Charles Schwab account.
However, it is important to note that due to COVID-19 some branches are only seeing clients by appointment. You should visit the Charles Schwab website in the country you are in order to see if the branch nearest to you is fully open to walk-in or if you must schedule an appointment to be seen.
You can also contact Schwab and speak to a representative about visiting a specific branch by calling the number for the branch you are wanting to visit. Phone numbers for each branch are located on the Charles Schwab website under the “find a branch” page.

Are Charles Schwab Offices Open During Covid-19?
Some Charles Schwab offices are open throughout the pandemic. Some, however, are not currently offering walk-in services and you will need to book an appointment to speak with a representative in person.
Others are not offering face-to-face services at all. For example, the London branch is not currently taking walk-in customers or seeing customers by appointment.
Schwab is beginning to open more of its branches for walk-ins as the number of cases decreases in some areas. For more information on a specific branch, it is best to contact the specific branch you are interested in visiting in order to see if they are open for walk-in clients or seeing clients at all.
What Services are Offered at the Charles Schwab Branches?
There are a good number of services available at all Charles Schwab locations. Whether you need help with your personal banking or a brokerage account, a Schwab representative is on hand to help you.
There is really no limit to the services you can receive by visiting a Charles Schwab location.
Each branch offers an array of services not only specific to investments. The services available include:
- Check cashing withdrawals,
- Deposits, and
- Help with your investment account or questions regarding your investments.
How Do I Speak with a Person at Charles Schwab?
It is fairly easy to speak to an actual person at Schwab. All branches have representatives on hand to answer your questions. Although some branches are not open for visits, you can contact Schwab at (+1) 415-667-7870 from outside the U.S. and at 1-877-853-1802 from within the United States.
You can also contact a specific branch over the phone and speak with a representative that way. For contact information for a specific branch, simply go to the Charles Schwab website for the country you are in. As noted earlier, there are different web addresses for Schwab international branches (see above).
There is also an option to send an email that will be answered quickly by logging into your Charles Schwab account. Emails are typically answered within one business day.
The Bottom Line
It is a major convenience to most Schwab customers that the company has offices located in a good number of U.S. states. There are also branches in international cities such as London and Hong Kong as well.
Even better, many branches are accepting clients by either walk-in or appointments, meaning you can easily speak to a Schwab representative face to face. If a branch near you is not open, a Charles Schwab representative can always assist you via email or phone.
All in all, customer service for Schwab is rated very highly. Customers typically find little or no issue with getting their questions answered quickly and in a friendly manner.
